Teacher Appreciation Week
Last week, from November 25th to 29th, our school came together to honor the dedication, care, and hard work of our amazing teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week. It was a week filled with gratitude, surprises, and heartwarming gestures from both students and the school community.
PYP LEGOLAND Trip
On November 22nd, the entire Primary Years Programme (PYP) at Enishi International School ventured to LEGOLAND Japan for an unforgettable day of fun, learning, and exploration. This field trip aimed to spark creativity, teamwork, and hands-on learning for our young adventurers, offering them the opportunity to immerse themselves in the colorful world of LEGO.
IBDP Business Management Field Trip
Last week, our IBDP Business Management students, joined by Grade 10 MYP students, had the unique opportunity to visit Walter Tools Japan for an enriching field trip. This experience offered a valuable glimpse into the operations and ethos of a global company.
PTA Autumn Picnic
On Sunday, November 17th, the EIS community gathered at the picturesque Windmill area of Meijyo Park for the much-anticipated PTA Autumn Picnic. The event was a heartwarming occasion, bringing together families, students, and teachers from across all grades to enjoy a day of connection, fun, and relaxation in the crisp autumn air.
Friendly Soccer Match with Nagoya Elementary
On Saturday, November 16th, the EIS playground was filled with energy and excitement as Enishi International School (EIS) hosted a friendly soccer match with Nagoya Elementary School. The event was a celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork, and the joy of friendly competition, bringing together students, parents, and staff from both schools.
Arts Theater Concert Hall Field Trip
On November 13, 2024, our Middle Years Programme (MYP) students had the unique opportunity to attend a captivating performance at the Aichi Prefectural Arts Theater’s Concert Hall. The event, titled “絵本×朗読×パイプオルガン『終わらない夜』” (Picture Book × Reading × Pipe Organ ‘The Endless Night’), seamlessly blended the art of storytelling with the majestic sounds of the pipe organ, offering an immersive cultural experience.
ELC Sports Day
On a delightful morning on November 9th, the youngest members of our school community, the Early Learning Center (ELC) students, came together for a heartwarming Sports Day event. The day was filled with laughter, energy, and the pure joy of play, creating memories to cherish for both students and families.
Open House
On November 4, our school opened its doors to welcome prospective families for an engaging and informative Open House. The event provided a fantastic opportunity for families to explore our vibrant campus, meet the dedicated staff, and gain valuable insights into our academic programs, including the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum for PYP, MYP, and DP.
Diwali Festival
We are delighted to share the joy and success of our recent Diwali Celebration held on Friday, November 1st in the school gymnasium. Hosted by Grade 10 student, the event brought together the entire school community—ELC, Primary, and Secondary sections—for an evening filled with cultural appreciation, vibrant traditions, and festive cheer.
International Mindedness Day
Our International Mindedness Festival on Friday, October 25th, was a resounding success! Thank you to everyone who joined us for this joyous celebration of culture, creativity, and community spirit.
Chess Tournament
This week, our school hosted a thrilling chess tournament that brought together 19 talented students from both PYP and MYP. These young chess enthusiasts demonstrated their strategic thinking and competitive spirit in what turned out to be an exciting and well-fought event.
Spirit Week 2024
From September 24 to 27, our school held an exhilarating Spirit Week packed with engaging activities for both PYP and MYP students. Each day brought new themes, colorful costumes, and exciting challenges that fostered creativity and fun.
Enishi Community Club's Hiking Trip
Last weekend, the Enishi Community Club embarked on a scenic hiking trip to Kinkazan, Gifu Prefecture, where members, including staff, students, and their families, enjoyed a day full of adventure, nature, and cultural experiences. The trip began with a ride on the Kinkazan Ropeway, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
Year End Dinner With Board
In June, following the conclusion of the academic year, the Board members of Enishi International Schools hosted a dinner with the school’s dedicated teachers and staff. The gathering provided a meaningful opportunity for the Board to express their deep gratitude for the hard work and commitment shown by everyone throughout the year.
Summer School
Enishi International School is proud to announce the successful conclusion of its vibrant and enriching Summer School program, which ran from July 1st through July 26th, 2024. The program brought together children from various age groups for an unforgettable learning experience that combined education with fun, all within the welcoming and supportive environment of our Kikui campus in Nishi-ku, Nagoya.
Year-End Performance Day
The Year-End Performance Day was a testament to the incredible talents and achievements of our students, the dedication of our teachers, and the unwavering support of our families. Student Exhibition and Book Fair
Last Friday, the EIS campus buzzed with energy and creativity as it hosted a remarkable exhibition featuring student projects from the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP). This event was an extraordinary opportunity for students to present their hard work to their peers, teachers, and parents, highlighting the diverse talents and dedication within our school community.
Camping Trip
On May 13th and 14th, 2023, the Grade 3, 4, and 5 students of Enishi International School, along with their dedicated teachers, embarked on an exciting camping adventure at the Aichi Outdoor Education Center. This is an annual trip we take each year. It is always a wonderful opportunity for students to experience the joys of outdoor education, teamwork, and exploration.
Sports Day
On the sunny morning of April 19th, our school grounds buzzed with excitement, anticipation, and the spirit of friendly competition as we hosted our annual Sports Day. This day was marked by a fantastic display of athleticism, teamwork, and sportsmanship from both our primary and secondary school students.
Summer School
Enishi International School is thrilled to announce its dynamic and engaging summer school program for children of various age groups, running from July 1st through July 26th, 2024. Hosted at its campus located at Kikui 2-12-32, Nishi-ku, Nagoya, this program is set to immerse children in a stimulating environment where they can enhance their English language skills through fun and interactive activities.
Picnic Day
This past Saturday, Enishi International Schools’ Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) hosted a delightful picnic at Shonai Ryokuchi Park, bringing together students, parents, and teachers for a day of joy and community spirit. The event saw enthusiastic participation from the Early Learning Center (ELC) Foundation all the way up to Diploma Programme (DP) students, creating a vibrant atmosphere of inclusivity and fun.
Japanese Culture Day
Enishi International School marked a vibrant and enriching celebration of Japanese Culture Day on February 9th, captivating students, parents, and staff alike in a colorful array of activities and performances. From the youngest learners to the secondary school students, the day was a testament to the school’s commitment to cultural appreciation and education.
