Enishi Community Club’s Hiking Trip to Kinkazan Brings Adventure and Fun
Last weekend, the Enishi Community Club embarked on a scenic hiking trip to Kinkazan, Gifu Prefecture, where members, including staff, students, and their families, enjoyed a day full of adventure, nature, and cultural experiences.
The trip began with a ride on the Kinkazan Ropeway, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Once at the top, participants explored Gifu Castle, a historical gem perched atop the mountain. The group then split into smaller teams to take on Kinkazan’s various hiking trails, each offering a unique challenge, from easy paths to more rigorous climbs.
Along the way, they discovered hidden museums and stunning panoramic views of the region. A highlight for many was a visit to Squirrel Village, where everyone had the opportunity to interact with the adorable, friendly squirrels that live on the mountain. “It was so much fun! The squirrels were definitely the cutest part of the trip,” said one participant. This successful outing showcased the community’s ability to blend learning, nature, and fun, leaving participants with great memories and a sense of togetherness.
The Enishi Community Club is already looking forward to planning its next adventure, with even more exciting activities to come. Stay tuned for more events and adventures!
