Spirit Week 2024

Exciting Spirit Week Celebrations at School: PYP and MYP Students Enjoy Themed Days and Fun Activities

From September 24 to 27, our school held an exhilarating Spirit Week packed with engaging activities for both PYP and MYP students. Each day brought new themes, colorful costumes, and exciting challenges that fostered creativity and fun.

For our PYP students, Tuesday kicked off with Water Play Day, where students arrived in swimsuits and splashed around, enjoying outdoor water activities. On Wacky Wednesday, students turned up with wild and wacky hairdos and had a blast making slime! Thursday was a special day as the students took a trip to a bowling alley, enjoying some friendly competition. To wrap up the week, Friday saw students dressing up as their favorite villains or superheroes. On this same day, they eagerly visited the Eagle Buck Store, where they redeemed their hard-earned Eagle Bucks for cool prizes and goodies.

In addition to the fun-packed activities, the PYP students enjoyed an exciting game of Hide and Seek during Spirit Week! The school grounds became a playground of laughter and surprises as students scattered to find the best hiding spots, while others eagerly searched for their classmates. The game encouraged teamwork, strategy, and added an extra layer of excitement to the week’s festivities, making it one of the highlights for the young learners. The joy of discovery and playful competition made this a memorable experience for everyone involved!

Meanwhile, MYP students embraced the fun in their own unique way. Tuesday’s theme was Bright Color Day, with students arriving in vibrant outfits that filled the hallways with energy. A highlight of the week was the Balloon-Powered Car Competition, where students constructed cars from plastic materials and raced them using the power of air-filled balloons. On Friday, students dressed up as famous authors or favorite characters, bringing literature and imagination to life as the week drew to a close.

Spirit Week was a lively and joyous time for both PYP and MYP students, with a perfect mix of play, creativity, and friendly competition!
