SAT Testing

What Is the SAT?

The SAT is one part of the information that some colleges and universities may consider when reviewing an application. However, many institutions no longer require SAT scores for general admission.

Students should carefully check the admission requirements of each college or university before registering for the SAT.

Please note that some colleges may not require the SAT for general admission but may still require it for specific programs, scholarships, honors programs, or competitive courses.

Students who do not feel confident with standardized testing may wish to consider colleges or universities that are test-optional or do not require SAT scores.

SAT Testing at Enishi International School

Enishi International School is a testing center for the SAT. Registration is required online directly through the SAT/College Board website, not through Enishi International School. Registration deadlines are usually several weeks before the scheduled test date, so students are responsible for checking the official deadlines and completing registration on their own.

Please do not contact Enishi International School directly with questions about SAT registration, deadlines, test changes, or College Board policies. All registration and official test information must be handled through the College Board.

All students taking the SAT at Enishi International School must bring an acceptable photo ID showing their name in English. This is not an Enishi International School requirement; it is mandated by the College Board, which administers the SAT.

If you do not have a photo ID showing your name in English, you will not be permitted to take the SAT at Enishi International School.

If you have questions regarding the test day at Enishi International School, please contact Mr. Japarbek Kyrgyzbayev, SAT Coordinator, at college.counselor@enishi.ac.jp
