Teacher Appreciation Week
A Heartfelt Celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week
Last week, from November 25th to 29th, our school came together to honor the dedication, care, and hard work of our amazing teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week. It was a week filled with gratitude, surprises, and heartwarming gestures from both students and the school community.
Student-Led Appreciation Activities:
Each day, students celebrated their teachers in unique ways:
Munchie Monday: Teachers enjoyed their favorite drinks and snacks, brought by their thoughtful students.
Colorful Tuesday: Students brightened the campus by wearing their teachers’ favorite colors.
Warm Words Wednesday: Heartfelt thank-you letters poured in, reminding teachers of the lasting impact they have on their students.
Thoughtful Thursday: Teachers received small gifts and tokens of appreciation from their students and families.
Fuzzy Friday: Cozy items were shared to keep teachers warm and appreciated during the winter season.
Teacher-Centered Surprises:
The week also featured special events designed to celebrate the teachers themselves:
Secret Santa Exchange: Teachers participated in a Secret Santa gift exchange, sharing thoughtful gifts and kind notes with one another. The exchange took place during a delightful breakfast provided by the Community Club on Wednesday morning, adding a festive touch to the week.
PTA-Provided Lunch: On Friday, the PTA treated teachers to a delicious lunch, offering a selection of meals tailored to everyone’s preferences.
The combination of student-led and teacher-focused activities created a vibrant and meaningful celebration of our school’s educators. Whether through small acts of kindness, shared meals, or moments of reflection, the week was a powerful reminder of the positive energy and sense of community that our teachers bring to the school.
