Students in other school can apply for summer school program.
Your child’s class will be assigned based on their birthdate. After the application deadline, we will notify you whether your child can attend the summer school program and which class they will be placed in
- Grade 5-6 class (birthdate: September 2012 – August 2014)
- Grade 7-8 class (birthdate: September 2010 – August 2012)

MYP Summer School Program is welcoming other international school students who have a sufficient English skills from the local Aichi region or overseas.
Please note that students who can not communicate in English are not be able to participate in MYP summer school program. They must have sufficient English skills to understand and follow teachers’ directions during lessons.
In the morning, students will have classes in English, Math, Japanese, and Science. After lunch, they will participate in Design, Craft, Modeling, or Experiment activities, and fun games.
On Fridays, students will go on a field trip in the morning, followed by water activities in the afternoon.
You can order school lunch with the lunch provider. If you do not order school lunch, please bring your own lunch. On field trip days, please bring your own lunch.
Please let us know on the application form if you would like to use the bus service. We will decide the bus timetable and route after the application deadline. School buses are available for all ages.
The bus routes for the summer school are different from the regular routes. The bus route will be decided based on the current routes and bus stops.
We do not send report cards or other comments to students or parents. It is not an opportunity to check their English skills. Thank you for your understanding.
We send a weekly newsletter with photos every week by email.
There are no afterschool programs.
They will have a field trip on Friday. We will let you know more details later.
You can cancel it before the payment deadline. If you cancel it after your payment, it is NOT refundable.
There is no makeup lesson for absent days. They can not attend the absent days for another week.
They can take a day off, however, there is no makeup lesson for absent days. The fee can not be discounted.
Please take a rest at home when he/she is not feeling well, or have diarrhea, vomiting, or a fever of 37.5°C or higher.
Please let us know through the form in advance. If parents do not inform us, students are not allowed to take medicine at school.
If your child has any food allergies, food restrictions, any problems in health, please let us know on the application form.

We email you around 7:00 in the morning if we do not have lessons due to a storm alert (Bohu Keiho). There is NO make-up lesson in that case.
There is no car park in the school. Parents can drop off their child and pick him/her up in the drive-thru area. The drive-thru time is 8:45 – 9:00 in the morning and 15:00 – 15:20 after school.
Parking or stopping on the streets near the school is not allowed due to inconvenience to the neighbors. Please park in a coin-operated parking lot and come here
Then can come to the school by bicycle. There is a bicycle parking for students next to the east gate. Students must wear a helmet and have ’Bicycle liability insurance‘.
They need to bring ‘lunch, water bottle (water or barley tea), snack, small towel, a hat and indoor shoes’. All items including clothes should be clearly named.
Please do not bring any toys or personal items. We do not have responsibility if they lose them. We will let you know if they need to bring something else.
